FSQA Quality Assurance Supervisor reports directly to the QA Manager. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the quality and integrity products produced and double checking the accuracy of quality Assurance measures. It is the duty of a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure consistent compliance with all plant, regulatory and customer requirements. Quality Assurance Supervisor assures that QA Tech’s are trained and carry out assigned daily tasks. Prior work experience in a Quality Assurance setting is desirable but not mandatory.
This person will work with USDA FSIS and will require the maintenance of a positive working relationship with USDA, and all departments within the plant.
The Production Manager will be responsible for accomplishing department objectives by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees accordingly. Production Manager will work closely with other team members to ensure a safe working environment, manage throughput efficiencies, and improve workers craftsmanship, knowledge and adherence to product specifications and perpetually increasing employee’s morale.
Set-up and operate a packaging machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Troubleshoot any process problems to produce highest yield and quality for each different product. Perform special projects as directed by Supervisor or equivalent.
