Henry Etcheverry, owner of Etcheverry Sheep Company, is a second-generation Idaho sheep rancher. His parents, Jean Pierre and Louise, established the operation in 1948 and raised Henry to appreciate the ranching lifestyle of his Basque heritage. Henry became a full-time partner in the family business after college, and decades later, continues to work with the same passion and dedication. He and his wife, Kathy, have two daughters who also stay involved with the ranch and its authentic way of life. Etcheverry Sheep Company’s livestock roam free in the mountains and deserts of Southcentral and Southeast Idaho, where the range is lush in virgin feed—native flowers, forbs and browse—and pure mountain water. The result is a wholesome, natural product.
